Up to 12 people. Six to twelve hours. From £300 per group. This is the one-day Health and Safety Executive recommended course in basic first aid. We cover all main aspects of emergency first aid. The cost starts from £1200 per group. The HSE recommends that if your organization has more than 50 employees, you should have at least one FAW qualified first aider on site at all times. This course includes essential topics on basic first aid and emergency first aid, is externally assessed, and successful candidates will receive certificates. This course offers essential basic first aid training and is designed for those working with children up to year 6, following the recommended subjects set by the Department for Education and Ofsted. It also prepares sixth formers for working with younger children and provides valuable insights into emergency first aid, which can be particularly useful for those considering a career in medicine. Under construction and development, this set of bolt-on courses will provide essential studies into a range of emergency life-saving drugs that can be administered by first aiders under exemptions in The Human Medicines Regulations 2012. This aligns with basic first aid principles and enhances emergency first aid training.

First aid training is best studied in person, as practical skills are truly learned through hands-on activities. However, we understand that some clients may prefer a brief overview and short talk about basic first aid. This course is designed to refresh knowledge for those performing surgery under anaesthetics, and it is essential that participants have a solid understanding of basic first aid and emergency first aid protocols, as well as emergency drugs. For those seeking a more in-depth experience, a longer version of this first aid training can be provided, extending to six hours and costing from £1200.
